I almost always pick best answer. Only once when I really couldn't decide between two good answers did I put a question to a vote.

Almost always...I think there have just been a couple questions that I put into vote, but most of my questions I have picked the best answer myself.

I try to always pick the best answer, but when i got an overwhelming response to my question I sent it to voting, there were just too many great answers.

Yes I do I don't want someone else to do it for me. I asked the question I wanna pick who gets the points. It's not always easy to decide though.

Always, because I like to give best answers even when only one person answers my questions. I think it makes them feel good that they actually help.

I consider awarding Best Answer (I always do) as a way of saying "Thank You" and wish it was mandatory before participating again in Q&A.

Except for the case when I had 45 open questions (my other account) and accidentally for got a few, and then when I came down with pnuemonia about the same time I stepped on a screw and it got infected, yes, I do.

i don't always get the absolute best answer but i try to choose the ones who take the time to give me as much information as possible.
