LOL Usually, yes..but sometimes I'm near a phone without caller ID and so I can't check. Otherwise I check, though!
I always let it go to voicemail if I don't want to talk to the person. I also hate just chatting on the phone. So, I usually let it go to voicemail most of the time. Then, I check to see what the person wanted and call back.

I don;t have caller ID. I let the machine take all my calls and pick up or answer the ones i want to. The problem with caller ID is you really have no idea what the person wanted. Let them talk to a machine. Get it "on tape".

I always check caller id before I answer, and if it's someone I don't want to talk to or someone I don't know, I won't answer it & let the call go to voicemail.

Yes, I do. I love my Caller ID. If it's someone I don't want to talk to, I never answer. If I'm not sure about the call, I will answer though.

I always check the caller ID. I usually hit the ignore button or just let it ring if its someone I dont want to talk to, like my ex-boyfriend or my dad.

Yes and yes. I also use caller-ID to see who called and did not leave a message, which happens often.
Try this. When someone you know, your grandmother for example, calls and you recognize her number on the caller-ID, answer "Hello, Nana!" before she speaks. She'll probably say "How did you know I'm calling you?". It works every Thanksgiving.

of course... its a habit to look at the caller Id for me.
and if i dont want to talk to the person the voicemail picks it right up.

I wish I had caller ID.
my parent's just don't believe we need it
because it's something we don't need
extra to be paying for.
Then again, I usually have everyone call
my cell, and that has ID on it.
So if I don't want to talk to someone, yes
I'll let it go to voicemail.
