Well, I certainly didn't turn out as I thought I would, and there are things I wish I had done differently, but over-all I guess I can say yes. And the yes isn't for any huge success anywhere other then within myself. I am proud because I was able to prevail through times I often thought I couldn't; because I feel that I finally understand and accept myself with all my imperfections and am able to say "That's o.k.". For me, this is major. This is peace and contentment in my world and it is a major achievement.

I am proud! Proud to live in this wonderful country of ours.
Proud to be an American.
Proud of my family.
Proud of my work record and the job that I know I am good at.
Proud that I take good care of my body and thereforth my health.
I am also proud of my wonderful German Shepherds.

i was raised by the right parents and they had taught me that nothing gives me more pride than being myself and being on the right side. That's why i like this saying: "the world is divided by 2 sides: good and bad. Choose 1 for yourself."
when life gets tough, that's a good chance of giving yourself a practice of getting experienced and deeper thinking. i think that is the mainly what i learned from living in this cumbersome, biased world.
