Yes, I think it is normal. Most times you don't feel the baby because when you are awake you are usually moving and the rocking motion of your movements rocks that baby to sleep. And when you are still like right before you go to bed the baby wakes up and is more active therefore you feel it more. If the baby is poking you try to gentally rub in the area and see if the baby will stop or change position. When i was pregnant i had the shape of a foot pushing out from my belly and though it was sooo cute it hurt soo bad. I rubbed the foot and the baby stopped pushing. And it was sooo cool.
Best of luck to you and the baby.

I'm 30 weeks along, and when i sit or lay down in the evenings my baby is really active. It can hurt because the sudden movement is startling to me, and I'm not used to it. An active baby is good, she's just looking for more room in there, and when you move, she's got to move to get comforable.

I'm going through the same thing. It's uncomfortable but it's normal. She's trying to get in a comfortable spot.

my baby does that too! It feels like my husband is pushing on my waist sometimes. Sometimes it feels like I'm getting punched! It's funny because I never thought the baby would be reaching all the way to my side.
Congrats!

oh sweetie, i'm so sorry to take heed to that he's being particularly insensitive in the direction of you, particularly once you're maximum susceptible. final analysis is, i think of, that he's merely too youthful and immature and not waiting for the huge duty of marriage or raising a new child. these days, states do no longer post with that, so be assured that if he would not, new child suppport gets closer him. in fact that men these days don't have a feeling of honor anymore whilst it is composed of doing what's ideal. it particularly is strictly why human beings could desire to go with marriage first, and then have babies. i understand that would not help an outstanding purchase, yet at your (and his) soft age, marriage could no longer be the dazzling answer. what are your plans after your infant is born? have you ever finished college? I undergo in thoughts whilst i replaced into pregnant, each and every thing made me emotional, so this is organic so you could be so dissatisfied. he could substitute his thoughts after the child is born, yet he will possibly no longer. this is purely a tragic fact these days that girls could desire to shoulder particularly some the duty for the babies. one option is often adoption. while you at the instant are not geared up for raising a new child, then provide a modern-day of like to somebody who desparately needs one. It isn't an elementary decision, yet then you definately could desire to end your coaching...and finally end up in a loving relationship with somebody mature sufficient to marry you and help develop babies - when you have gotten your coaching. Adoption isn't an elementary decision, i could no longer do it THEN, yet when I had a raffle to bypass decrease back, an outstanding purchase of hardship for myself and my new child could have been prevented. do no longer lose wish however. men have wavering thoughts merely like women, notwithstanding they do no longer prefer to coach it. He could desire to be scared - marriage and fatherhood are extensive customary jobs, and he could come around in spite of everything. notwithstanding if he maintains this habit after the child is born, do no longer hesitate to offload him to the decrease, document for new child help and flow on with your existence. he often is the single lacking out, and you're happy with your self for no longer taking the BS. (((((hugs)))))

You may want to call your doctor. Its okay to be over protective about your baby. Heck screw calling the doctor go to the ER for an ultra sound... make sure both of you are ok... but since she is moving, she is probably fine.

Congrats!!

a friend of mine had a very pushy baby and it was often pain full, there are some stretches, movements and positions to alleviate pain. almost any preg book should be helpful. i recommend "what to expect when you're expecting"

o yes and it only gets worse. just wait until she gets her foot up into your ribs. i am a very big girl and when i was pregnant with my son he used to push so hard with his knees you could actually see them poking out. sometimes if you pushed back(gently) he would move them

Yes, and it will get worse. She will get bigger and stronger.
Try to position yourself as well as you can, using pillows if necessary - even at work!
She probably gets kinks in there too - they seem to enjoy stretching and 'aerobics'!
