If you haven't set it to automatically lock when not in use, then yes, she can read it all.

Yeap of course. If she gets a hold of your cell phone then she can get into your cell phone text messaging area and read your inbox (text messages you receive) and those you have sent to others.

However, the cell phone bill that comes once a month in the mail will not show any text messages but will show the numbers that were text message too and received.

I understand what your asking and the answer is NO. Phone companies try not keep track of incoming and outgoing message content, it would be very "messy." Wives would call about husbands, mothers about daughters, boyfriends about girlfriends..I think you get it, it would put the company in a very bad position. In the rarest cases (homicide, etc.) a court can subpoena and trace text messages and I don't think you mom will be able to get a subpoena for no reason... bottom line--keep your phone with you and your safe!

If she has physical access to your phone, then she most certainly can. . . However, depending on your phone you may or may not be able to set a "lock code" in the settings. Then you'll be able to lock your phone and only be able to use it when someone enters the lock code. By default, with most carriers the code is set to the last four digits of your phone number. Look in your settings for your phone.

If she is smart enough too. It doesn't take much when you think your daughter is hiding something from you. Trust me she will become self taught in no time.
