I dont think profiles on other web sites like myspace are good enough for me. I want my own site. What's the best way to make one?

If you don't want to pay then you can get free hosting from many places around the net.
If you don't know HTML or any other languages then I suggest getting a program like Frontpage (basic) or Dreamweaver MX (a bit more advanced).
These sort of programs are known as WYSIWYG programs (What you see is what you get). They basically let you design a page graphically and it does all the coding for you. Once you have made the site just upload to your webspace (whether it be free or paid for).

Try this site, The hosting is very in expensive and the service is great, I host my own site with it. They have 300 GB of Space and 3 TB of Bandwidth. Plus ALOT of e-Mail Accounts.

u would need to pay for a domain like urdomain.com. u would also need o know how to write html or install a blog like wordpress on the server

you have to register your domain name.(you have to pay for that)
Also for hosting your site without advertisements, you will have to pay.
the alternative is free hosting like geocities.com or freewebs.com which work with advertisements and other limitations.

A good one with domain, yes.
Or you can get a free one with freewebs and geocities, but it suck.
