And here in Arizona, there is an open carry law - meaning anyone can carry a gun in public, so long as some part of it is visible (anyone who picks a fight with someone clearly carrying a gun gets what they deserve).
As an Ex-pat Brit I found it very unsettling at first, walking into the supermnarket on a Sunday morning and seeing a guy looking for a pizza, with a Glock at his waist.

Yes, they reside at Oklahoma State University. The one that was the Pistol Pete mascot last year had one. Oh wait, you mean real cowgirls... I'm in Oklahoma and haven't seen a real one yet... But lots of Oklahoma redneck women have guns.
