I'm writing a book and found this name. Is this a good full name for a teen mermaid princess:

Cordelia Aquamarine Searene (pronounced Ser-ene)

I did a lot of research and:

Cordelia means Sea Jewel, Daughter Of The Sea, Sea (Mermaid) Princess

Aquamarine means Sea and/or Ocean, Sea Jewel

Searene (pronounced Ser-ene) means Mermaid

Do you think it is a good name? If not what name do you think?

If you can answer thanks a billion!

I think the name is very pretty. Unfortunately though most people don't know that the name actually means those things and relates to the book so well. If you explained what her name means in the book I think it would be great! Good luck!

Your name sounds like an underwater bueracratic office.

The best names say only as much as is needed, and no more. One does not need to keep repeating the water reference, since Cordelia sufficiently covers it all.

How about Cordelia Muirean: translated as "jewel of the fair sea"

MUIREANN
Gender: Feminine

Usage: Irish, Irish Mythology

Means "fair sea", derived from Gaelic muir "sea" and fionn "fair, white". In Irish legend this was the name of the mother of Fionn mac Cumhail.

Well, keep in mind a few years ago, there was a mermaid movie called 'Aquamarine' you may not be able to use it without running into some legal issues.
