Well, even though he had mistresses, (that's besides the point) but the greatest President was FDR. He got us out of the Great Depression and got the country back to work at the time of war (WWII). He was popular enough to serve 3 full terms, and died in his 4th term. He was the reason why women joined the work force.

FDR Roosevelt , he brought us out of the Depression that Hoover the Republican President had us in a Great Depression. He started the Social Security act. He may have been Handicapped but he was the greatest President that ever existed or ever will exist.

Abraham Lincoln. He successfully guided this country through its toughest time, and brought it all back together.

There are many other greats, of course. Washington was an amazing man, but most of his greatest came before he was actually president. But he did refuse to be annointed king, and he did step down after two terms, creating that precedence.

Washington / Jefferson or Madison was the best President. Theodore Roosevelt was the Greatest Man who held the office of President.

-Andrew Jackson...well...aside from his mass killings of native americans, he abolished the federal reserve and was the first president to balance the budget...

-FDR...too many reasons why he is the greatest!

-JFK...got rid of the federal reserve for a short period, and helped boost american morale to the heights of only FDR in his golden years...

fdr....he put together a plethora of social programs which are still intact to this day (who knows for how long with this pres. though) and he helped keep the country together during the most important world conflict of all time......washington was a decent, though very reluctant leader, lincoln was good too.
