Are Mac laptops more reliable than PC ones? (specifically Macbook Pro)... Do they ever crash or get stuff like trojans, spyware, worms, viruses, or other malicious software? If I were to go on a bunch of adult websites and download a lot of crap, would be computer internally be in pristine condition without any bugs?

I'm on my 2nd Mac...no viruses, trojans, spyware or the like. Never had any problems with either one, but I do keep up with my security updates. I have heard that some of the malicious are starting to target Macs specifically, but they ARE the vast minority. I'm so glad that I gave up the VAIOs, which gave me multiple problems.

the way you treat your computer has nothing to do with the brand. if you put stuff onto it that leads into viruses, it won't matter if it is a mac or a pc. treat your computer right.

macs usually are better quality than most pcs, just not in the way of stopping viruses. for that, you should get a firewall and something like norton.

i'd say go for the mac. as long as you also get a firewall and security.

It matters what urre doing. if ur into the mutlimedia and stuff like that, go with a mac. if wanna play games or have like a bissness, the pc is for you
beware; mac doesn't have many software for it and when its made for mac, its ually made for PC too.

well downloading any type of cr@p from the internet puts you in danger of getting viruses. but if your ordering anything online your info won't get stolen etc.

if you wanna know why don't you rent one

It doesn't matter what computer you have, downloading anything can give you a virus.

In my opinion, Macs suck.
