Yes, I love this book (it is one of my favorites of all time) and have been blessed to know people (both male and female) who are very giving and selfless.

Yes, I do, but I don't want to say her name. I believe that someone who can be compared to the tree or the boy in this particular story shows love and kindness to another person. This book, "The Giving Tree" is a wonderful book. It's short, but it shows a big thing. It's one of my all time favorites.

I am not an arrogant person, but to my children I was the tree and they have become the boy but haven't come back to sit on the stump even

The relationship between boy and tree is exactly like that of my sister and my aunt. One hundred percent sacrifice on my aunt's part.

It's anybody or everybody who ever experienced or gave unconditional love to another.

It's a beautiful book, one of my favorites of all time.
