Human intelligence is immeasurable, so it is difficult not to underestimate it. I assume everyone is a genius so that I will not think any less of them than they merit.
I also assume that the enemy is a genius. The worst mistake a warrior could make in regards to the enemy is to underestimate its intelligence.

That used to happen a lot considering I am quiet natured & was a receptionist.
I purposely took some communication classes & started using a more direct tone with my voice & looking people straight in the eye with a little less smiling & the misconception turned from 'dumb' to 'b*tch.' Oh well, I guess I'd rather settle for that.

Well, I would be arrogant to say "allot"! But, I think it's not really classified as underestimation, but, maybe under-appreciation. But, what can one do when they are put in a high paying job that is normally occupied by knuckle dragger's?

I never really noticed.
I think they would not underestimate my intelligence, but instead see my potential...a desire to learn.
Though on a rare occasion, I cross someone who underestimates the world's intelligence. These peeps are kinda funny...especially if you are soooo much smarter than they are. :-)

Underestimation is generally not the problem...it is the overestimation that usually gets in the way

Nah. some human beings have advised me that they are able to tell with the aid of the look on my face and how I behave, that i'm smart. I even tend to be quiet too, yet as quickly as I communicate, I communicate with command and *continually* look human beings quickly in the eyes.

I would say most of the time. I'm not a high-profile person, which is not a reflection of my intelligence, but it can be interpreted that way.

We should each undearestimate our intelegence every day, its what drives us to learn and better ourselves. If you don't question yourself you become complacent, which leads to falling behind. The world is a fast paced place, the guy up front is only there because he is being pushed by everyone else!

Not often. I think they're overestimating...like they think I'm some profound poet first time they look at me. Which is kinda cool and all, but I mean, they shouldn't expect so much.

Not as often as I over-estimate my intelligence.
