For about another 4 billion years, at which time the sun will run out of core hydrogen fuel and will expand to a red giant, destroying Mercury and Venus and possibly the Earth/Moon system as well.

No, Actually the sun is supposed to have a life-span of Ten-Billion Years, and now in present day 2007 it is a little over half of it's life time, so around 5 billion years or so. The Moon will neither shine because of the burn out of the sun, because the sun has the light that makes it reflect. Soon the Sun will become a Red Giant this will happen after the hydrogen and all of the chemicals that make the Sun go through Nuclear Fusion , and soon cause a super nova that will turn it into a White Dwarf...
We all will be long gone, the readers of this answer, before the sun and moon will ever stop reflecting and shining

area is defined as: The expanse wherein the image voltaic gadget, stars, and galaxies exist; the universe. The region of this expanse previous Earth's environment. The universe would not boost because of the fact of area, area is created via the universes enlargement. The moon is larger from the Earth now because of the fact even the gravity of the Earth won't be able to shop the moon in %. continually. that is extreme velocity circulation makes each and every orbit a sprint extra suitable away than the final. The universe is often made up of hydrogen, helium, and lithium. All different aspects and supplies got here from those.

No it wont.
As we speak the sun has burned half its fuel supplies. In 5 billion years the sun will swell up and maybe even swallow the Earth, then it will settle down as a white Dwarf and die a slow cold death.
Earth's oceans will start to evaporate within half a billion years due to the sun's growing size, and the earth should be devoid of live around 1 billion years from now, however, some scientists claim that we have up to 2 more billion years before that happens.
The Universe is expanding and gas from the galaxies being processed into heavier materials, Eventually in 8 billion years, we wont see other galaxies as they are going to be too far away
Galaxies will eventually die as the elements become to heavy to create new stars. In 100 Billion years the galaxies will be nothing more that dormant super black holes.

Not really.
The sun is expected to use up all of its supply of Hydrogen Gas in about 4.5 - 5 Billion years. After that it will expand to four or five times its present size and swallow up all nearby planets in its agonizing death. Mercury, Venus and Earth are prime candidates, with Mars a possible victim also.

Sadly, Billions of years from now it will all die.
There many theories. The sun could become a "Red Giant" as it dies and become very large and taking the planets into it. Then it will shrink to a White Dwarf (I think that the name), burn quietly into nothing. IF, the sun were to attain enough mass as a Red Giant it could become a "Black Hole" but, that may be doubtful.

Eventually something will destroy this world. Whether it is us or natural events only time can tell. You got all sorts of things to choose from: the big rip, the expansion of the sun, complete nuclear annihilation, asteroids, and what not.

No, it won't and you very well know it. Most of time occured on earth before man even got here. We are in the last days. Read the book of Daniel. You can't deny the truth of it, even if you are an atheist.
