Bottom line: Flip Flops are not appropriate anywhere except for the beach or poolside. I'm so sick of seeing ladies in nice dresses of any age sporting flip flop footwear! It's ridiculous! Purchase some nice heels or strappy sandals, ladies! If you're going to spend the dough to buy a nice outfit, complete the outfit with some nice footwear, not some cheap excuse. Personally, I really can't stand to look at people's feet--nicely pedicured or otherwise, it doesn't matter to me. Flip flops need to go the way of the leisure suit. They need to be permanently retired.

I love flip flops but they are an ugly shoe, esp. when people have dirty feet, nasty hammer toes, or the flips are old and dirty.
On the other hand, it is the comfort shoe of the summer and wouldn't go far without them. I don't care how tacky my flip flops look, I am so gonna wear them.

It depends on who's wearing them, and what their feet look like. If you have well-manicured toes and feet are clean and attractive, I think they look okay. But I've seen some really atrocious feet that shouldn't be in flip-flops at all. As for me, I hate the thing between my big and second toe, and can't wear them at all. Most are flat as pancakes, and I need more support.

Only when the flip-flops are old and dirty and the person who is wearing them has dirty feet. But when they are new and clean and the person has a nice pedicure they are fine.

I think their cute.. But then again it all depends on who is wearing them, and how well their feet look. Some people can pull it off, and others cant.

I think they are okay on girls and in the right situation. Men shouldn't wear them, and women shouldn't wear them with EVERYthing like they do.

ummm..... no!! its pretty gross when people have long toenails or something but flipflops are some of the best things in the world!!
