What is the big deal with those crocks, the shoes that are rubber clogs with holes on the top..... we cant escape these horrible ugly shoes even while on vacation in Disney! My question really is are they comfy and dont your feet sweat in them? I am old enough to remember the days of the "jellies" (shoes very similar to crocks) and they were not comfy at all nor were they pretty. I know at some point i will have to break down and get a pair just to see what the big deal is. Can someone please tell me what everyone sees in these shoes?

I LOVE you all! My daughter and I really feel like the only 2 people on the planet that dislike these shoes and now reading all of your answers we know we r not alone, thx! Also, I wore and loved the jellies when i was in grade school but they were ugly :)

I agree with you 100%!!!! Crocs are the UGLIEST shoes known 2 man. I have tried on my cousin's crocs and they r comfy but I don't like the style. It's just a trend and it will pass by (hopefully!) dont buy them!!! ~

Okay, I finally broke down and bought a pair of crocs when I hurt my foot a couple months ago. They are very comfy. I did purchase a black pair without the holes, though. I think the ones with holes are uglier than the ones without. Plus, I'm not a big fan of the wacky colors people wear either, hence the black, but they are very comfy and my feet don't really sweat any more than normal in them. Of course, I wear 'em with socks, too. (And I only wear 'em if I'm wearing jeans or long pants...I think they look stupid with shorts.)

Like all fads, they will die out soon. I guess they're comfortable, but I don't own a pair, and don't intend to. I think they're rather ugly myself. But in the world of fashion, whether it's flattering or not, everyone tries to be an imitator. By next summer, you probably won't see many of them around. It will be some other crazy style that everyone has to have.

I think that crocs are some of the ugliest soes out now, but they are really comfortable. I don't have a pair and never will, but my feet are naturally sweaty cuz i get it from my dad, but crocs dont really make ur feet sweat cuz of the holes. they are really cheezy though. i mean plastic shoes??? come on!

Beats me but I sell them at my store like crazy. The material doesn't seem like it would be that comfortable or hold up for very long either. My guess is that that they are just different and people just want to be different (as long as lots of other people are doing the same thing).

they are comfy but yes your feet do sweat in them to some degree but they are nice to have for gardening.
