From where inside of a Hen does the egg come from, and where does it leave from?

The egg is produced in the ovary, and as it passes down the tube to the cloaca, the various parts (yolk, shell, etc.) are added. Eggs are laid from the cloaca (the general-purpose anal opening that birds have).
