You know NOTHING about being a real fan. Listen, I'm a Yankees fan, and I'll tell you what being a real fan is. Before you were born (believe it or not, baseball existed before you were born) through the 80s and early 90s, the Yankees absolutely sucked. Sticking by them then, that was being a real fan. Being a real fan was pinning your hopes on guys like Mike Pagliarulo and Kevin Maas. It's watching them hand the ball to Andy Hawkins every fifth night and hoping he'll give you five innings. Being a real fan is going to Yankee Stadium on a school night on a night you knew they would lose, and there would only be about 18,000 of you there, in a stadium built for 50,000. If you're really a high school senior, then you don't remember having to suffer with your precious Red Sox, because as far as you can remember, they have always been the big spending, big market, free agent signing machine that they are now. Besides, what is a high school senior cheerleader doing spending so much time on the computer? When I was in high school, the cheerleaders spent most of their time partying, having fun and in the back seat of my car.
