My baby brother is Army Special Forces Combat/ Search and Rescue in Anbar Provence. His young wife is active duty medical/nurse as well in Saudi Arabia. They are away from their 2 small children. They didn't ask for the war to start, but these kids went over there without complaining because it's their job.My brother has been there for 11 mos already and his stay got extended for 8 more mos. He has had a daughter born while he was there, his father died while he was there, but when I talk to him on the rare occasion he has access to the internet or phone, he NEVER complains or dogs anyone. He has seen more death and gore than I care to imagine. His love of his country and his wanting to do what he feels is right just makes me so proud of him. I am against the war but I try to remain somewhat silent about it because I don't want to disrespect all the men and women who are doing what alot of people are too cowardly to do. So, yeah, I support the troops. My brothers platoon has been living off of MRE's for 4 mos, so we send him food alot so they can share it. I am afraid I will get medievil on someone who pops off **** about our soldiers, they are just doing their job, don't blame them. Pray for them to come home safely.

******Manybagolike : They didn't ask you to get married either. What a selfish person you made yourself sound like. I cannot believe that a grown woman would be so petty and childish." They ruined my wedding night cuz I couldn't swim !!!" Boo Hoo! Some of those guys won't make it home and seriously, do you think they have pools in Iraq.

Of course I support all of the troops that are fighting for our country. We have a lot of friends that have been deployed lately well since 9/11. And thankfully they have all made it home alive. But if it wasn't for all of the troops past and present where would we be? My grandfathers were in WW2 and my husband is a Marine. So we have military people all around us. And I am very thankful to the troops and their loved ones b/c I know first hand that it is hard for the families too. God Bless All The Troops!

a big yes in supporting our soldiers. If you look you will see that those who have been there or share a bond through those that are there support, defend but most important pray for the one that are there and those that don't can go to sleep tonight and rest securely knowing that they can wake tomorrow and have the freedom to put down the ones that walked quietly through the night looking for those that would cover your faces and smother the freedom and the life out of you.

Are you asking a question that you would like an unbiased answer or are you making a speech.

I support our troops by sending personal supplies every month since the war started.....but I still want them home now.

I am an American. I know a variety of pledges.
I do communicate with the few soldiers I know.

And I try very hard to get them home sooner rather
than later.

As we all know now, we need a political solution,
not a military one. I don't want to see any more of
our finest killed in the name of supporting W's ego.

Sounds to me that you are supporting our troops a lot better than our government is: almost every day, you read where it's something that the government isn't doing, or something that the troops have to send home to their families for to help them fight.

The men standing on the wall are bleeding and dieing every day so that we can enjoy the benefits of freedom. They need and deserve every kind of support we can give them. Thanks for doing what you can.
