Hello,
Yes, you should have a plan for your future. Find out what you are interested in & go full force toward it.
No one knows what the future holds, but once you realize the career you wish to have, you can get further education in that field. Education is the key. Get as much of it as you can. At your age it is very easy to blow off what you will be doing in years to come but it is so important to prepare for it.
With the cost of living these days, a good paying career is a must & to get that, you need an education, a good one. Stay focused on that. Make sure you are able to provide for yourself & your family that you will one day have.
I wish you all the luck in the world.

Ok that's OK just STAY with it. I would advice you to go to some type of vocational training. The schools usually place you when you graduate. You're luckier than I was, I waited until I had several children, and a wife to support and NO JOB when I started thinking in these lines. I took a test to find out what job type I would probably be good at. Then saw several options until I went for one. Talk to a college counselor or a counsel er at a vocation school. GOOD LUCK, there's some good jobs out there but the KEY to it all is find something you can be happy doing everyday AND make decent money.

Well, you really need to focus on your eduacation. It's vital. If you do that, and start out doing something then you'll be on the right track. I think you should start looking at colleges too. If you go to college then you'll make sooo much more money than you would if you just had a High School Diploma or GED. Having a GED isn't very good either. You won't make too much money with that. At least, that's what I'm lead to believe. I hope this helps, and I mean, you know what makes you happy. Do whatever makes you happy, but if you stay in school then that'll help a whole bunch. Get your High School Diploma and you just have to figure that out for yourself.

You're asking the right questions. You can use the coming academic year to think about your preferences and use the counseling resources at your school to get you on a realistic and rewarding career path.

reach the credit either through summer school or adding another year of school. I suggest trying to raise your gpa and looking into scholarships and grants. if you keep in contact with your high school counselors they are excellent resources/refrencences. You should think of things you are interested for your future... you still have plenty of time to think of it. goodluck

You probably should have some idea. But, there are a lot of students that do at least the first year of college not knowing what they want to do with their lives.
