Yes.Why else would they want electronic voting machines with no paper trail? I wouldn't put anything past the government.

No, I don't believe the elections are fixed. However, I do believe there is a lot more voter fraud than is generally reported. The upside is that I believe both sides of the isle are guilty and in the end it's probably a wash.
If the "fix" were in, the candidates wouldn't be campaigning as hard as they do to both get out the vote and try and make sure its for them.
It's very unsettling when voter registration files contain dead people and a precinct tallies more votes than the population of the precinct. Voter confidence that the system is free of corruption is probably one of the most important aspects of an electoral democracy.

I don't think their fixed I just feel we have very poor options. I mean really our presidents have lots of money which the common joe like myself doesn't. Common joe can't run which would care what happens to the regular guys. In addition the common person would realize our faults with internation relations and internal issues which would be able to have other countries stop hating us and make working conditions more manageable; but will never be elected because no cash. So we get 2 guys to hash it out and the people are left to decide which one is less of a jackass then the other when really neither have any concept of what the regular people want or need. I feel if we lived in a real democracy due to the internet we could really truly be ran by the people for the people.

Yes it has been proven in a # of occasions. I will provide one below.

I would also like to add, that the only way any candidate really stands a chance is if he or she has major cooperate endorsers. So we really have no say in who wins the primary. In fact we simply allow them to tell us whom we get to pick between. Thus we are left many times voting for the lesser of two evils. With this being a fact the elections are fixed to a degree whether people like it or not.

maybe you should ask your self how can some one who is so stupid they can't wipe their own behind after taking a crap get elected as president of the U,S, OF A, all it takes is to kiss azz to the Zionist Jew's and make the best promises for Israel, then the Zionist owned new's media, T,V, stations etc will make this scum bag look so great no one else could compete, they will keep him in front of the people so much and tell these idiots so many times how great he is they soon believe it, the old story is ( if you tell something long enough and often enough most people will believe it,) our people in this country is so busy and greedy to make more money they don't take 1 hour to really check on the candidate they intend to vote for , but, won't vote for a independent candidate ,because they say they will lose their vote, and elect some stone cold idiot to represent them????

No, however, I think they are unfair with the electoral system. A candidate that gets the popular vote can still lose the election, as shown in 2000.

Confidence in the election process is the centerpiece of democracy...we need to be above approach in our elections. Should be treated above politics and something sacred. Just my opinion.

Yes, but not as a result of voter fraud but as a result of many 'hidden' agendas and supporters that most of us are not privy to. Much can be done behind closed doors that will lead the voters around by the nose.

There is a distinct possibility that electronic voting machines can be manipulated.

If democrats had the ability to hack voting machines, they may be equally likely. The main voting machines are manufactured by Repulican biased interests.

I'd like to see more investigation into this matter.
