my hard disk clicks a lot (like 4 to 6 times every minute) while im playing maplestory. and my ms framerate used to be always 85 but recently its dropping to 42 a lot. does it mean that my hdd is dying?

it doesnt make the clicking sound when i watch anime on the same hdd (different partition)

It might well be a problem of fragmentation, nothing dangerous, but still annoying. What kind of clicks do you get?
Anyhow, you should have a backup of your important stuff. And do that for all the partitions on the same HDD.

More than likely, yes.

Copy your personal data to CD / DVD ASAP.

Then, replace the hard drive.

yes....replace it as soon as possible. you should be able to copy or clone the old hard drive to save all your data, or have it done for you.
