can anyone plz tell me a recomended linux distro for a noob like me. the easier the beter... thnx

you can start with knoppix (go to knopper.net) it comes on a live cd and dvd and when you install it, it has all the applications ready to use so you don't need anything else

Ubuntu/Kubuntu are good but they don't come with a lot of software...

DSL is nice too... (it stands for d*mn small linux)

Fedora core is a pretty damn good distro. Easy to setup/install etc. Ubuntu isn't too bad either.

Kubuntu 7 is just the ticket. It's a Live CD, do you can try it before you install it.
