miss most about your childhood days?
I miss playing baseball w/ the neighbor kids and building forts and hiding in the cornfields and catching lightning bugs.... but now as a parent, I get to do all that w/ my own, but somehow, it's not the same.....I miss those days... what about you?

I miss everything you just said. When we were younger we would turn the whole basement into a fort with boxes and blankets. It was so much fun. I also miss the ability to imagine ANYTHING. You could have a box that was a car, then a space ship, then a house... It was so much fun.

I miss playing kick the can with the neighbors. It was a time when I had nothing to worry about except finding a good hiding spot. I miss the lazy summer days, too. When my niece asked me if I get summers off like she does it made me miss the days of being in school and not having to work all the time!

Summer....no school and certainly no work. Just living in my swim suit, running around barefoot all the time and not having a worry in the world.
Fall....raking leaves and jumping in them, carving jack-o-lanterns and going trick-or-treating.
Winter... stuff like sliding on the hill. We had a really long way to travel on our sled and then we'd get pulled back up the hill by our snowmobile which my brother was operating. Christmas used to be such a magical time of year. I could never sleep Christmas Eve and would often get the family up as early as 1 am.....after all, why wait when Santa has already come.
Spring....Mud puddles to splash in and make little trails in the driveway to diverge the puddles elsewhere.

Well when I was really young we lived in a court, that was sort of in a little mini-valley.
Every summer when it rained the bottom of the valley would flood, and all the neighborhood kids would go swimming in it.
And then every winter the snow plow would push all the snow into a gigantic pile at the end of the court, and all us kids would go to work carving amazing snow caves into it.
When I was slightly older and we moved, I still built huge igloos/snowcaves with my younger bros. We got real creative with them too: We would add electricity and communications gear and everything!

Oh, yeah, I miss those days but with this old body I could never keep up or catch up. We used to play kick the can.....touch football....baseball........basketball and an assortment of fun. We had hoolahoop contests ........we walked on stilts.....we roller skated on the road and did so many wonderful neighborhood things. This was back in the early 50's! I miss that! But, I now love to watch my grandchildren at play.

i miss my childhood house..i was inside the house all the time and was never able to go out and play with the kids in the neighborhood but it was a nice childhood memories with me though every afternoon while my grandma will have her sleep,i run out of the gate and go back inside the house just in time when she will wake up..there are even times when i am not able to run away,i will be inside the gate and play with kids while i am inside..heheheh we will just pretend that i could be a salesgirl and they will all be coming back to me to buy something..
i will be selling leaves in which we will pretend to be food and we'll use play money and use wrappers for candies and we'll put stones on it..heehehe..anyways,i love being a kid though..one of these days i might visit the village were i grew up and go see the changes it must have made after all these years.._c",)

Quite a few things really. I miss the way i never had anything to worry about, playing with the neighbours/siblings/friends, rollerblading on the weekends, my family being together all at the same time.

I miss Saturday's with my mom. She worked two jobs all week and Saturday was our only real time together. We would pack a picnic and go down to the banks of the Chattahoochee River. She always stopped and bought me a new bottle of bubbles. We stayed until I had blown every one.
