I have, I picked up the wrong carton from the fridge and poured banana milkshake into my coffee. Maybe I should learn to put the light on so I can see the difference in the colour codes on the lids! lol x

Oh, I have them daily... it's just a matter of degree. I personally like Bill Cosby's take on the phenomenon. The older we get the farther south our memory goes, until it settles into our rear-end. Which is why, when you get up and walk into another room to do something and can't remember what, the only solution is to return to the original room and sit back down. You know, to stimulate the seat of our memory.

You can buy BANADA MILKSHAKES in cartons in the U.K.? The closest you get to this in Canada is Egg Nog at Christmas.

I think I'd rather have a chocolate milkshake accident in my coffee though.

Now, talking about senior moments...
Just today I was crossing the street, and forgot I no longer move as fast as I did...almost got myself flattened by a car, whose occupants yelled something nasty about my fat *** on the way by.

I had another fight with the youngest daughter's boyfriend yesterday. He had the nerve to accuse me of lying about a very small incident, and I went bollistic on him. I DO NOT lie--ever. And this smug ******* had the nerve to imply that I "went off the handle" because I'm old and cantankerous.

Generally, I don't have TIME for senior moments, though. Just today I had to do laundry. Make sure my grandson got to the birthday party he had been invited to at 11 a.m., and this involved walking him there in 33 degree Celsius heat AND having to go the long way around because he forgot to put on his sunscreen, so I bought him more. Cleaning house. Picking up the same grandson and bringing him home (sans any sign of burn!). Cleaning out the basement workshop, which has become buried under boxes and junk over the past two years. Dishes (thanks to my oldest daughter, I didn't cook today). And then relaxing on YA until bedtime.

I'm sorry I added so much more later, but I AM tired...maybe THAT'S my latest senior moment!

Well Saturday night I was a maid at a party on a boat on the Thames. Started at 9 pm and finished at 2 am the next morning. By the time we cleared up is was 2.30 and I had a 400 yard walk to the car park. Boy was that a senior moment

Oh yes. Put the eggs on boil for breakfast and then clean forgot, immersed as I was in cracking the soduku puzzle ( for the uninitiated - it is a number game). The acrid smell brought me down to earth with a thud. Of course I had to make the breakfast all over again. Lol - it keeps on happening and this was the most recent one.

No but all I did that was terrible today was take a water bottle out the fridge while my hands were full. Next thing you know all this water was shooting up in the air and I let out this medium pitch scream. Left me puzzled afterwards and so I endedup having to mop up water and then I just shook my head.

I work in a petrol station at age 62. I thought I was quite competent but why, when I see £15.64 on the screen, do I say £16.54? I seem to open my mouth before my brain is engaged or is my brain confusing my mouth? Maybe I should give up!

Well I have them hourly, but the most annoying was that I kept Parmesan and Splenda in the same type (Kraft) shakers.

Putting Parmesan in your coffee is disgusting!!

It is astounding how fast this can hit you, one day your nearly fine and the next your brain will just not work right.

I lie in bed looking at housework that needs doing - cobwebs trailing and dusty surfaces. I thought this morning- "Why have I let it get like that?" so I got up to do it, but found I couldn't. I've had arthritic knees for yonks - and arthritic elbows and I KNOW I have. It never sinks in that I'm not as quick and vigorous as I was.
