Well.. not knowing exactly what type of visualization you mean it's tough to give you a more solid answer...
That being said - the visual aspect of something is of great influence to us. For instance... when you walk into a store.. depending on how the merchandise is set up it can either incite you to buy it or make you walk past it. Food served in a restaurant is the same... people enjoy their food much more if it's attractively laid out on the plate rather than if it's slopped down without regard.
It's a matter of striking the right image in the mind of the person/people you are trying to influence.
Scenery, lighting, appearance, scents, all lend to the overall impression. Every demographic is different... so different images and atmospheres will affect people differently. The trick is finding what works for the group you are going after.
