im already connected but i want to play halo 2 how do i do that

You need high speed connection. And a router to connect your ethernet cable to your xbox. than just buy an account for xbox live

Log on to xbox live and create an account if you haven't already done so! Once you do that (you'll need a valid credit card because xbox live service isn't free ... $50 bucks per year), put the halo disc into your console and choose online I believe it is or maybe it's something like multi player at any rate, log in and do the necessary set up and you should be good to go !
