Reagan wanted regulations eliminated but the Republicans we have now have regulated us to death, To me we are over burdened with regulations and operating a small business is getting worse. Life use to be much simpler and you could concentrate on your customers but now you spend 3/4 of your time complying with regulations and now the penalties are much worse also. maybe we are becoming a totalitarian society with cameras at ever corner.

The problem is special interest has taken over campaign fund raising...they hi jacked the political system. The two parties are all turning down Federal Assistance because they can raise more money without the rules. The Special Interest are now the ones with market control and trying avoid becoming obsolete. So they are buying with their special interest campaign funding bribes...a means to create barriers to entry of new technology. So government is acting with the current industrial powers to keep the little upstart business from overturning the applecart on them.

The shame is that America true value in the world marketplace is that they are innovators of world...the current business environment cuts out innovation such as R & D from our corporate sectors. And in the long run will hurt America's standing in the global economy.

The U.S. is over-regulated in everything, not just business.

But the over-regulation of business is the most damaging. We're going to make the small business extinct, and we still don't get it. In Illinois, for example, the governor wants to change the income tax so businesses pay a percentage of their revenue, not profit. So non-profitable businesses will pay lots of taxes just like profitable one. Talk about killing any chance to have small businesses.

The idiot governor in Illinois says he wants to help the poor and the middle class, but then he makes sure the middle class can't own a business, thus supplying no jobs to the poor. Way to go.
