I tried LCD's and they just dont compare to CRTs for me. I purchased two very nice LCD HDTV's to use as PC monitors (Samsung & Sharp Aquos 1080p) Neither looked as clear as my 19 inch CRT. Full screen tv shows i downloaded looked blocky and pictures on the internet looked grainy. So anyways I loved the size and want the biggest widescreen CRT I can buy!

Hah. Most defiantly not. If you don't like LCD, go plasma.

And what do you mean they don't "compare"? CRT is a much older technology than LCD. LCD is better on your eyes, less expensive (usually), smaller, and if you position it right, there is no difference in color.

its not that LCD's are bad at computer monitors, its just that the SIZE of the screen is the problem, and your graphics card on your computer probably sucks 2. a CRT TV would be even worse than an LCD, they just don't offer a very good picture quality. (I should know, I have a 30" CRT HDTV, and I've tried to plug a comptuer into it before) I have a friend with a 32" LCD, I belive its from Sony, or Panasonic. and his shows up crystal-clear, and its not that fancy of a monitor, its the Graphics card that counts!

Chances are that they don't. 32" is too big and bulky for a monitor. A TV is different given that its hardly moved and usually situated where there's more space. A 32" monitor would be a nightmare.

LCDs have gotten better with respects to color. However, if you want better picture quality, a plasma would be better. However, LCD monitors are great for those high resolutions. Get an LCD monitor, not an LCD HDTV.

CRT' latest a miles better image for multimedia and layout purposes (video modifying, digital imaging, and so on), however the TFT flat monitors are lots extra effective, in value, area, and power use. the concern you're having with the exhibit screen could be because of the decrease refresh costs inherent in liquid crystal exhibit video exhibit units. some all of us is soft to the refresh costs of those video exhibit units (quite after switching from a CRT to an liquid crystal exhibit). that is comparable to how some all of us is soft to fluorescent lights. the two (liquid crystal exhibit video exhibit units and fluorescent lights) to no longer incredibly exhibit a great image or gentle, yet rather flicker at an extremely extreme velocity. The decrease the refresh fee in Hz, the slower it sparkles. After a undeniable factor human beings start to pickup in this flickering which traces their eyes and reasons issues. that is attainable that when a on a similar time as with the hot exhibit screen you will get used to it (I did). no remember if that is that lots of a undertaking regardless of the incontrovertible fact that, see approximately going back to a CRT.

Why do you need an 32inch LCD monitor? It's to big!
