Replace the fan, they are very cheap -- that is, if you don't buy it at comp USA. Cheap fans that are in most computer power supplies are the single biggest reason that power supplies get replaced.

If you are handy with a screwdriver, then it is pretty easy to replace. If not, have someone who knows what the hell they are doing do it.

Advice, replacing the fan....take it in with you when you buy a replacement. The different fans and how they are attached to the box can make you dizzy.

Hope this helps

Peace

a stray wire could be in the way of the fan. check and see if there is a wire near the fan getting stripped at one part. if not, just oil the fan, which should solve a squeaky problem (just make sure the oil or whatever you use only goes on the fan)

It's most likely the bearing in the fan. Just replace the fan, it's pretty easy to do.

Cheers

I have the same problem in my computer. You may want to check what fan it is before buying a new one. In many cases is is the CPU fan (the one that is conected to the motherboard). You can look on www.newegg.com for a new CPU fan or you may want to try a water cooling system if your really hardcore.

Hope I could help!

Either the fan's bearings are bad or it's just a noisy fan.

Hi. The bearing may have worn out. Just replace it.

They probably could use a little grease or you could replace them.
