Closed Sundays. It's part of the Chick-fil-A® recipe.
Admittedly, closing all of our restaurants every Sunday makes us a rarity in this day and age. But it's a little habit that has always served us well, so we're planning to stick with it.
Founder, Truett Cathy, wanted to ensure that every Chick-fil-A employee and restaurant operator had an opportunity to worship, spend time with family and friends or just plain rest from the work week. Made sense then, still makes sense now.

The most common place to find a Chick-Fil-A restaurant is in your local shopping mall. In fact, Chick-Fil-A founder Truett Cathy pioneered this concept of inside the mall fast food when he opened a store in the Greenbrier Mall in Atlanta, in 1967. This was an idea that had never been tried before and it gave Chick-Fil-A a solid base to work from. There are some Chick-Fil-A locations in places other than malls, but the shopping mall is still the most popular location.
Service at Chick-Fil-A has always been quick and courteous. And when something goes wrong with an order, they quickly replace the food with no questions asked. My only complaint with Chick-Fil-A is that it is closed on Sunday. The weekend is a popular time to shop at the mall and I'm always gravely disappointed when I discover that Chick-Fil-A is closed. I don't know if they will ever change this policy, but I sure wish they would.

They are all supposed to be closed. It's a religious thing with the founder.
