There is a story about two little boys digging in their backyard, trying to reach the other side of the world. The boy's older brother watched in amusement for about an hour as they dug.

Finally, the older brother went outside and told them that it was impossible for them to reach the other side of the world; that their hole would never be deep enough.

One of the little boys calmly walked over and grabbed a glass jar. Inside the jar was a bunch of old toys, some lost keys, and other various knick knacks that would be very valuable from a young child's perspective.

The boy held up the jar, looked at his older brother and said, "maybe we won't, but look at all the cool stuff we've found on the way!"

Moral of the story: No matter how impossible the task, go for it anyway. You never know what you'll obtain along the way.

How do I know I'll never reach it? Many times I have heard of the unreachable being reached. Better to go for it, somebody will be the first to finally reach it, it might be me.

Yes I think so. You can learn a lot from something that doesn't work out, and it builds character to try.
