Gotta be scarface, he's the only one who hasn't sold out to the money side of things Fat joe used to be real but now its all about making club tunes and making his money. Even Nas seems to be going down this route. You should check out a British rapper called Plan B, he's not like most British rap which has gone into the level of all that grime rubbish. He is truly original and a one off, lyrically hes as good as anyone still rapping and if 50 cent is anything to go by then this guy is worth a billion dollars

Nas. He is the best rapper ever and he is still putting out hot music. all of his albums have gone platinum. Big Boi. or Andre 3000 could be close in the running as well as Bun B

Well I got 2 and they my favorites...U got Eminem (not retiring...got a album coming in Nov.) and Nas. Both these guys spit things the tru gangsta way, they talk bout life, emotions and they don't give a f- what anyone thinks about what they say. Guys like the swishahouse crew and g-unit (besides yayo) and other guys from down south (beside luda and jeezy) just spit about bling, riches, whips and chicks which is a bunch a s- and not gangsta. So yeah, Eminem and Nas...o...i'm not a big fan but got 2 include Jay-z.

That is a question that can never be truly answered and be factual. With a question like this, there can only be an opinion. You can make an argument for many artists like Jay-z, Andre 3000, Big Boi, Ludacris, KRS-One, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, the list goes on and on. My favorite MC of all time is the GZA/Genius from Wu-Tang Clan because of the way he flows and puts his words together. He's so creative with it, one line of his can be interpreted in multiple different ways. But that don't mean he's the best. I have respect for so many different artists I don't think I'd ever be able to answer that question truthfully.

well it all depends in your opinion my favorite was tupac but since he is gone. I'm not sure. I like many songs from different rappers so it's pretty tough..my friends really like lil wayne and JayZ.
