Can I use a cingular go phone as a regular phone if I put my sim card in it?

I broke my phone and my friend told me you can just stick your sim card in it and use it as a regular phone. Has anyone tried this? Does it work??

Yeah, it works.
It's a Cingular phone.
Basically, you can put your SIM in any Cingular phone & it will work.

Yeap all Cingular Go Phones also use Cinguar GSM network. If your old phone doesn't work anymore just use the sim card on the back of your phone and put it into the Cingular Go phone and you can use that phone like you normally do on Cingular.
