I am never ashamed of things I do or say if I mean what I say or do because I temper it with love and kindness. If I do not mean what I say or do I will apologize because it was not meant by me and I want no misunderstanding to come between anyone. If I am ashamed of the things I say or do deliberately then I should stop for others sakes and my own because it will do more harm than good.

I am ashamed of some things I had said when I drank too much but thank goodness the people in my life have forgiven me since I became sober.
