You have a Liberty Seated dime that is considered a variety 4. In English that means your dime has the legend on the obverse. They were minted at two mints that year. One being Philadelphia (no mint mark) the other was minted at San Francisco ( it has an S on the wreath side at the bottom under the bow. Either one is worth about $11 in grade good-Liberty on shield smooth, date and legend legible to $12.50 in grade fine- Liberty visible, weak spots. In grade extra fine- Liberty and scroll edges distinct the value goes to $23. These values are about what a dealer would pay. Hope this answers your question

I was just horrified when I saw this question! EVERYONE knows that you never ever clean any old coins, if you want to preserve the value. If you cleaned it, it would be worth perhaps ten cents! You would just ruin a really valuable coin and make it worthless. DON'T CLEAN IT!!!
