The Americans like to stick their nose in everything and i mean everything, unless their speaking tongue is English. Castro may starve his people but do you think another Cuban wouldn't take advantage of this power ?? Communism killed many people to reach supremacy but this is bad for Americans because there was a system that threatened the American Republican one not the killing factor that they used to support their argument agains communism in the majority, so they felt the need to rid communists form Cuba by using the CIA to train Cubans to oppose Castro who was communist just like they did with the Afgans. Did you know the CIA trained Asama Binladin and others and in the end created the taliban to indirectly rid Afganistan from the Russian troop fearing Afganistan being the centre of the arab world will also turn communist and the rest will follow after?? I could bet if Americans didnt have nations that competed with them and they accuired the nuclear bomb as early as 1 year before anyone else they would have used it so subdue the whole world until we all undertook their system of government and knew English bowing to their dim witted George W Bush who i bet you didnt know has an IQ beloow 100, amaising isnt it.

It's not like the U.S. has been trying to take over Cuba, so I don't think this is much of an accomplishment.
Plus, Castro gets fat and rich while many of his people starve and live in abject poverty with no rights. So, yeah, I'm sure Castro spitting on the U.S.'s shoes has been really good for the Cuban people.

He is the longest living thorn in our side. Russia kept this Cold War on for years, No. Korea is trouble defying the US now. Hard to beat Castro's record. He has softened yet his new pupil is Hugo Chavez, President of Venezuela .

Goodness sake, son, if the "Empire" as you call it wanted to annex Cuba, they could have done it in year 1.
WE DON'T WANT IT!
We have something called ethics. We don't take other countries. Even when we attack it requires that the other country attack us (Afghanistan) or our allies (Iraq vs. Kuwait and Israel).
That's like someone putting their hand against the Empire State Building and someone else saying, "See! He's kept the building from falling!"
Silly.

It's a shame that Castro starves his people and brutalizes them. America should do something with him.
