do you guys think that yuvraj should be vice captain rather than dhoni?

i know dhoni is a better batsman but yuvraj can bowl and probably is the best fielder on indian tem and he is a pretty good batsman and has a lot of expericence

IWith due respect to the credentials of Dhoni, t feel that Yuvaraj Singh should have been made Vice Captain as he is more experienced as compared to Dhoni. The main reason which I can think of not making him the Vice Captain is that some times he is too casual in his batting and does not show responsibility and maturity.

I think Yuvraj is better as a vice captain than Dhoni. He has more international experience than Dhoni. He has also played more match winning innings for India, especially in one dayers, than Dhoni. If Yuvraj has lately suffered from occasional lack of form and injuries, some of Dhoni's current performances have been patchy too. Dhoni's only plus point is that he is India's most reliable wicket keeper at presesnt and hence has to be included in both forms of the game. And he is a pinch hitter too. Yuvraj can score very quickly too and bats more sensibly than Dhoni. Besides he is an utility bowler.

Yuvraj is a good player. But he is inconsistent. Dhoni is a player who has improved as an WK by leaps and bounce. He keeps a cool head and can adopt to the situation. He is cooler and off field than Yuvraj. Above all he comes from a non cricketing family so he will be able to understand average players and keep his feet on ground. Also as an WK he can watch the opponent Batsmen closely and make strategies more effectively. Only he has to improve his batting in conditions where the ball is swinging which is weak point of every Indian batsmen excepting Dravid and tendulkar.

When we are thinking of a wicket keeper,actually he can manage the team siting beside the wicket,becaz a good keeper can imagin how batsman is playing what are the shots he is playing and in whish direction he will strike to the ball in next time ,then if a keeper is a vice captain he can talk with Skipper and change the feelders well in there possitions .
So I think Dhoni will better and effective as a vice captain than Yuvraj.

It is India, where the best person never get the proper place. This is why Rahul has been continuing as Captain in spite of presence of much much much better captain Sourav. Yuvraj at least 4/5 years senior than Dhoni and more over he has capability, boldness, mental strength which is needed to be a good Captain.

i think yuvraj has every right to be captain rather than dhoni. The fact that mahendra singh dhoni was appointed VC rather than yuvraj will effect yuvrajs confident greatly. and his lack in confidence will be visible in his batting. He has been a match winner for india in the recent past, however he is only talked abt rarely. He is much more experienced than dhoni. He has been in the international game for long enough to atleast get a chance to open and be vice captain.

Yuvraj singh is still not a regular member in the test team,that's the reason why Dhoni was preferred over Yuvraj,

Its quite unfortunate Yuvraj cant find a place in the test team side,i think its time for one among these four(rahul,sachin,ganguly or laxman) to vacate the spot and give way to youngsters.

I also agree with yuvraj being the vice captain instead of dhoni. Yuvraj being senior, agressive and more consistent should be the better option for vice captaincy.

It's too early to make Dhoni a vice-captain.
Experience should be a criteria for captains and vice-captains.
Yuvraj is more qualified to be a vice-captain than Dhoni is in terms of experience.
