I live in an apartment complex with no outside hose access, so I want to be able to run one through my kitchen faucet, or even my tub faucet. Are there any adapters for either of these?

You are looking for a kitchen faucet aerator with garden hose connector. I have not seen one for several years either, but I did just confirm that they are still available. I would be surprised if you found one in stock somewhere, but a hardware store should be able to order one for you. I know that Ace has them in their catalog. Thinking while typing, you may actually be able to find one at a garden center, as the best use for one is watering flowers.

Don't expect too much out of this thing. It will allow you to run water through a garden hose, but flow will be very low and the pressure will also be low at anything more than a misting flow. The tube that connects the faucet to the supply plumbing is only 3/8", so you can't get much through there. You could water plants if you are patient enough, but don't expect to wash your car or something like that.

On another note, do you have a washing machine hook-up? Many apartments don't, but if you are lucky enough to have one you could hook your hose there, as a washing machine supply hose connection is the same as a garden hose connection.

Hi

Although the Garden Hose Thread (GHT) male is a standard, I am not sure if all sink faucet manufacturers use the same female threads for the removable screened outlet into which this adapter would be placed. You might want to check with your local hardware or better yet local plumbing supply to check that out before buying. They may even have the adapter in stock!

These folks list a sink adapter. http://www.austinhomebrew.com/product_info.php?cPath=178_33_145&products_id=905

Here is another.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000DZHCQM/ref=nosim/?tag=dealtime-tools-20&creative=380333&creativeASIN=B000DZHCQM&linkCode=asn

They list it as a standard 55/64"-27 Male faucet thread.

And yet one more.

They list it as a standard 15/16-27 FEMALE x 3/4 male hose threads

Ace Hardware Outlet has a lot of items that come up when you search for “Faucet Adapter”.

Obviously you will

I found reference indicating that the Aerator used on Delta & American Standard Faucets, what I have at home, having a 15/16”-27 thread.

These folks seem to have a variety that includes a rubber clamp on type.

There used to be an adapter available to do just that, but I haven't seen one in quite some time. You will probably have to scour some good hardware stores, such as Ace or True Value, to find one. Take the twist out diffuser end that's screwed either into or onto the end of your faucet spigot, along with you so they can match the threads that you have to fit your faucet.

Even if you can't fit a standard half inch garden hose over the end of yor spiggot you will be able to buy a hose biig enough to fit over, then clamp it on with a "worm" clip or any sort of clamping device which will fit round the hose to keep it tight so it will not leak.

Yes, any hardware store would carry them - just tell them what you want.
