yes, if you have tons of old old days coins that can worth over thousand dollars or over then that. you can go to a coins sellers stores were they do know about collections coins and money more then anybody else and you can sell it or earn it to get pay for it . or you can check out on tv where sometimes that have this tv show where they have a real judges come to you tell you the true about the old hings like coins and who made it and where came form and what does it worth $$$ . but you gotta check see if you have the channel on youre own tv . or you can go to the fleamarket where they do have somebody who does sell old fashions stuffs and money coins . can help you . i have also collected millions diffrent countries and sizes and shapes and colors money coins and dollars too yes , they worth over billions . i went to a collection place where they do sell old things at the store but i live in ca so i hope there one at youre town .

Coins from the 1900 are far from being ancient coins. They don't even belong in the medieval classification. In reality it depends on what the denomination is and what condition the coin is in (grade). I have no idea what country you are from but if they are coins from the United states they do have more value than their face value. Usually early 1900 coins from most countries have value. Your best bet is to get a price guide so that you can sort them out as to ones that have high value to ones that don't. Then you can go to a coin dealer or two and get their value. No dealer will go through hundreds of coins that are only worth a few cents or dollars each. Be prepared. If there is a coin club near you the members would be willing to help you with values and grading.

If they are US coins they are at least worth the value of the coin.
But yes there are many coin collecters out there, and many web sites you can look up the value, remember no matter how good of condition you think they are, rate the value down some if your not a professional grader of coins.
Good luck

in the event that they're US money, they probable have lots extra silver content textile than modern money and so are nicely worth a minimum of the cost of the silver (or gold). (this would not persist with to nickels and pennies). otherwise rarity and situation are the main needed factors. situation is in many cases difficult for an novice to decide. Do you have a great coin broker on your section? good success. i'm hoping you strike it wealthy.

As currency, not really. But, coin collectors would pay decent amounts of money for them.
