It's normal, it's a happy dance. He feels safe enough to let his guard down, he's got lots of energy since he hasn't had to flee from predators, he's a healthy guy in his prime. My male rabbits were better at it then my females--the females seems to be slightly more reserved about demonstrating like that, they ran around and would jump around but nothing like the males who seemed to be doing something similar to extreme sports. My males would jump into the air and then twist around in these amazing arabesques, land on their feet, pause for a second and then go dashing around the place some more. Eventually, they'd lie down panting like crazy but looking so pleased with themselves. A compliment from you would be welcome at that point. As he gets older, he'll do this less and less, maybe only taking a short dash every now and then.

Of course!!! He is playing :) Completely normal! It means you have a very happy bun!!! No need to calm him down... he will not injure himself, no worries.

The "jumps" in the air you are describing are actually called Binkies!! Also called a "happy dance", rabbits do this to express sheer joy. Sometimes a binky takes the form of a bunny jumping up, kicking out it's legs, and spinning around. Sometimes it's a simple hop upwards. Whatever form it takes, there's no mistaking that it is the act of a happy bunny.

Give your baby bun a big kiss from me!!

Enjoy every single minute of him!

He is just excited. My rabbit when she was allowed out used to hop around and then get tired and rest and then hop some more. She used to (she went missing) do this comical thing where she used to jump really high and do a funny little kick in mid air.

Absolutely normal. Like a cat that gets the evening crazies.

He's a baby bunny! He's just having fun and getting some exercise in! Leave him alone. He'll be fine.
