Homework every day is not like working overtime every day. An average work day is a lot longer than you spend in school, so the homework usually just brings you up to the point that the average worker puts in each day to earn a living. Furthermore, the purpose of homework is to reinforce ideas taught during class. Practice is important. Judging from the quality of your sentence, it looks like you didn't get enough homework in your English class.

LOL

WOW. You're an idiot, plain and simple. You think half an hour of homework is too much? Wait until you get to college. Although.. if you can't handle grade-school work, chances are, you won't get into college.

And overtime? Are you joking? You sit in an air-conditioned classroom for 5 hours, go home, and your parents do everything for you while you sit and complain about homework. You don't work a job. Chances are, the closest thing you have to real 'work' is taking out the trash and washing some dishes. If that, even. Stop being so spoiled and lazy.

Why don't you get a job this summer that requires you to work overtime every day? Then you'll know the difference between school and the real world!

Nah, I bet you don't spend 8 hours a day in classes. If you spend 6 hours a day in class and 2 hours a day on homework, that's still just an 8 hour day.

School isn't like a real job though. Life gets harder than what they throw at you in high school. You do have to go to work everyday and sometimes you have to take it home with you on friday night, just like homework.
