i wasnt with my parents when they bought me my cellphone. is it true that all cingular users can text/call each other without paying? no matter what plan? im not sure cuz i think my parents were lying to me when they said no.

depends on when they got their plan. if you look at a cell phone statement from cingular, they'll usually list all of the features of that plan. or, you can go to their website to view your account to see what features it has. i can't say with certainty what you have since i wasn't with your parents either, but i would get them to help you check on their website or view one of their statements.

Cingular has two types of messaging plan to choose on top of your regular rate plan.
For $9.99 per month you can have unlimited messaging (text, video, pictures) mobile to mobile with Cingular customers and 200 additional messaging with any other cell phone carrier.
For $19.99 per month you can have unlimited messaging (text, video, pictures) to any cell phone carrier.
