Young people think they know everything, and they have no respect for age or experience.
Where I work, the young girls literally despise the old people, and the old people, by being customers, are the ones who are paying the money, which in turn, pays the snot noses' cheques.

your right a lot of young people not all have really bad attitudes they don't care about anything but themselves. They figure that everything should be handed to them on a silver platter and if they should have to do it for themslelves my god the world is coming to an end. Really it is not there fault they were never taught how to treat elders or people. To many parents now adays are afraid of disipline. My friends little boy gets away with yelling no to her face, the day my child tries that he better run. He already knows when he uses the wrong tone with me I say pardon and I get a prompt sorry mom. The other one is going to be like SOME (not all) of todays teens and up to mid twenties no respect. I know it is easier said then done but try not to let it get to you and if so after work go home and have a cold one :)

I think it's unfortunate that young people today don't seem to have any respect for anyone else. It's hard for me to understand because I grew up in a military family so we were taught to say yes ma'am, no ma'am, yes sir, no sir to people older than us. I guess families aren't teaching their children respect for others and how to act on the job anymore. From now on, if she's doing it incorrectly, let her continue and let the manager see it and talk to her about doing it the wrong way. Just go in, do your job and don't get involved with her unless you have to. It's not worth ruining your days over.

Dont get carried away with the age thing. I know for a fact that there are people like that of all ages, everywhere. MAybe you can let the manager know what it is that she is doing incorrectly and it will be addressed.

I do internet see any difficulty with you once you have been a new child, the only element is which you have hidden it out of your mothers and fathers (nicely possibly you have been ideal they could no longer have had the dazzling reaction). that for the period of Kindergarten you tried to look decrease than lady's skirt is frequent, all little boys are curious, maximum of them gain this yet they are not pervert for that and whether they discover females uninteresting, they're however very fascinated in them.

well, not necessarily. There are plenty of respectful young people, but more than enough are very rude and disrespectful. But, considering that she's 17, I'd have to say ya, that's pretty much the norm for a teen.

Leave her to make mistakes and get into trouble. She will. She was rude but you don't need to deal with her. Stick to your own work, whatever she does, and take no notice of her. There are plenty of rude people out there of all ages, - don't judge the rest by her behavior.

I think your attitude says it all: "I'm 55; she's 17." She probably senses that you are condescending her and she doesn't appreciate it. Can't really blame her. Plus, it's not what you say, it's how you say it. Personally, I'd mind my own business, but if it bugs you that much, privately bring it to your manager's attention. Keep in mind, it's your manager's responsibility to manage people, not yours. Sorry if all of that sounds harsh, but I'm just trying to be truthful.
