green eyed gal i sympathise,
june 17th is 10 years since my dad died and the horrid irony is its fathers day.
its cancelled in my house, we had fathers day today x

My dad died on June 17th 1997.
And this year is father's day.
Hmm.
He would probably tell me one of his terrible jokes, then laugh at one of mine!

I can sympathise. I love singing and every day on 1st June I would belt out June Is Busting Out All Over ..... I won't even think of that song now never mind sing it. My Mam died on Ist June 1996.
The next year, I had a double whammy, Mother's Day fell on her birthday. September 10th is another non-Day for me; that's the Day my beloved Dad died.
I won't have anything to celebrate tomorrow either.

Not really...well it's the day I spent looking around the stores like crazy for my fathers gift. I had completely forgotten tomorrow is Father's Day. I know, I'm a bad daughter :-( At least I didn't forget on the day itself. ^_^

The day before my son was born 25 years ago. I was in labor all day and part of the next too.

well, comedy central is having a one hour special of Daniel Tosh stand up... other than that, not really.... oh thats right fathers day I forgot, I guess cause my dad left years ago.... who gave me a thumbs down?! What kind of person gives some else a thumbs down cause they didn't grow up with a father, thats insane!!!

yes its fathers day, but my dad passed away 4 yrs ago and i am sad i cant get him a card and give him a hug and tell him i love him
