im just 17 and a catholic i wont get an abortion if im pregnant,,, maybe you have read my lasts qestions.. 12th day of cycle, i didnt have sex, i wasnt naked, i was the one who toushd the precum and then hold my bfs hand and then he fingered me,the precum was dry.. well tons of people told me that i couldnt be pregnant, i was so worried, so i asked if i could take a test a week after everything happend.. i wnt to a dollar store bought a test,, and guess what im pregnant.. i just couldnt believe it.. me pregnant? i was going to wait until i got married to have real sex.. what a wonderful gift to my dad for tmorrow rigth? i havent told my mom, i am calling my bf but he dosent answer the phone.. do you think that the test could be wrong?.. ive been taking some medications i dont know if they have an influence in the result..

The dollar store may not have the most reliable tests. For your sake I hope it isn't true. I would call an emergency pregnancy center and see if they can get you in for a blood test. Some meds MIGHT affect the test -
And you had real sex. Real sex is touching intimate body parts with genitals or other body parts, (hands, mouths, etc........).

The test "could" be wrong, but if the positive was clearly visable AND you read it in the allotted time for the test then it's positive! There are very few medications that effect the outcome of pregnancy tests....most of which are medications for infertility which you wouldn't/shouldn't be on anyway so I doubt that medications effected the results. Don't tell your dad about the pregnancy test tomorrow though. If you think it's really positive wait and go to your Dr. If you have to tell your parents anything tell them you are having female problems or that you need your regular exam or ANYTHING. Wait until you go to the Dr and find out for certain. If you trust your mom to keep it secret and won't jump down your throat go ahead and tell her, but dads especially handle these things REALLY badly so if you aren't you don't want to start something. KWIM? I hope either way that this serves as a wakeup call to you and all the other young people who are out there messing around and thinking they are still virgins(which you aren't if you are having ANY contact with another person on your genitals)that yes, sometimes even the "chances are slim" DO happen and they last forever.

Well the odds of that happening are very slim but i guess u were the "lucky" one. Some medications can influence the result. They are usually medications that actually contain the hcg hormone. I forgot which ones they are though. I'd take another test to be sure and go to the doctor and discuss the medications with him. Who knows it could be a false positive. I would tell anyone until you've confirmed.

If I were you I would go and take one from Plan Parent hood better. Tell them all what meds you are on.. I wouldn't trust a test from the Dollar Store. Plus, the chances of you getting pregnant from dry *** is very slim. But just because that test said you were don't trust it. I took 3 and they all said I was and went to the doctor and I wasn't!! So go and check for sure!!

You desperatly want to be pregnant and now your body is playing tricks on you. You should get a book on sex and read it. You can get pregnant from precu*m, but it should enter you by means of intercourse. Dry precum on a finger would highly unlikely make you pregnant. Your period is late cause you're stressing. Don't tell you're bf you're pregnant, he will laugh at you. THere are people who have unprotected sex who want babies and never get pregnant. There's technically only like 2 days in a month that you can get pregnant. It's not so easy to get pregnant as you think. Just leave it and stop worrying. You are giving yourself a bad name by going on and on and on about this. AND You are only 17, stop your shait and concentrate on your homework.

I would retake the test a couple more times before you tell your parents in case your results were wrong (especially because a test from the dollar store and is more likely to be defective). Good Luck and I'm sorry about your situation. Would you consider taking the plan B pill?

I wouldn't tell anybody until you are for sure. Get another test and take it in a week and then if that says you are pregnant then go to the OB doctor and get confirmation by a blood test. if you don't want the baby then i would suggest giving it up for adoption. Good luck.

I would go to the doctor if I were you. Just to make sure, but honey I think you were one of the lucky ones to get pregnant on precum. I knew it was not impossible, just never heard of anyone actually doing it. But go to a doctor to make sure your medicine will not cause you any harm and good luck.

I got a false positve once. so you can wait and test again or go to the doctor and get a blood test. that would be pretty crazy if you were pregnant. I don't think you are pregnant tho, it was probably a defect in the test just like mine was. All the best to you!:)

tell ur family and boyfriend that u done a test because ur period was late or something and got a possitive result and make an apt with ur doctor 2 confirm anything its always best but its very rare 2 get a false possitive unless the test was faulty
