It doesn't factor into their agenda. Neither do Clinton's Iraqi resolutions, apparently.

Oh, and while we're at it, they won't even admit that Hillary and Kerry voted in favor of going to Iraq. And if they do, it's that they were "lied to."

They want to elect someone to run the free world who is so daft they can be "lied to."

Another thing they neglect to remember is that when Bush Sr. said " Read my lips, No new taxes" the Democrat controlled Congress would not fund the troops unless Bush allowed a tax increase. The U.N. allowed only that Sadam be removed from Kuwait, no invasion of Baghdad was to be allowed. Since then the food for oil scandals became known. If Sadam was bribing the U.N. when he was in power it could have been going on in 91.

Libdems forget anything that does not fit into their neat little communist ideals. During Clinton's administration, it was the democrats who were talking about going after Saddam and is WMD, only Clinton didn't have the balls to do it. Bush did. However, since Bush was a republican, it was obviously the wrong thing to do, although the dems were trying to talk Clinton into doing it. Oh no I don't forget. I was in Kuwait for Southern Watch and then later on I was in Turkey for Northern Watch. Those were Clinton's babies.

Why do they forget about the Civil War? Why do they forget about WWI and II? They forget because it is convenient for them. They "forget" to manipulate the public. If everything they have been wrong about went public, Democrats would no longer exist as a political party. They forgot Republicans freed slaves and Democrats beat, killed, and hung slaves. They forgot their longest term Senator was a grand wizard in the Ku Klux Klan. They forget so the public lives in ignorance of American history. Have you seen the youtube video of Al Gore in 1992 talking about how Iraq had WMD and Saddam killed hundreds of thousands of his own people? They forget because Americans forget.

the gulf war and the current war in iraq have no relation to 9/11 nor to each other. the iraq study group proved that and the 9/11 commission proved that.
the gulf war was fought to protect an oil producing nation that was friendly to the u.s. al qaeda (those reponsible for 9/11) had no bearing on that war whatsoever.
the current iraq war was instigated in order to gain control of an oil producing nation and in hopes that america could gain a pro western foothold in q very anti-american region.
9/11 was perpetrated by al qaeda. a group whose base of operation was afghanistan. they were protected by the taliban gov't in that country. they had a lesser presence in pakistan. at best saddam turned a blind eye to al qaeda's very small presence in his country. the link between the 2 is incidental at best.
preventing another 9/11 would have been best served by finishing the job in afghanistan. establshing a pro-western gov't there where the people had long suffered under an oppressive taliban regime and where there is a proven connection between al qaeda and the gov't.
al qaeda would have probably moved into a neighboring country and the u.s. would probably still be embroiled in a difficult conflict there. but by dropping the afghanistan ball and foolishly invading iraq the u.s. gave al qaeda 2 countries to terrorize. and they further destabilized the region by alllowing afghanistan to return to a terrorist haven and by building another one in iraq.
there is no connection between the gulf war, 9/11, and the war in iraq. except that they all involved the u.s. and 2 of them happened to occur in the same country.

Oh really. Gosh, since the rationale put forth by the Shrub keeps on changing, it IS kinda hard to figure out just why we did it in the first place. In actuality, there really was no good reason for the First Gulf War either.

I'm on the "far-left," and I remember it. Kuwait was slant-drilling into Iraqi oil fields, and Saddam Hussein asked April Glaspie, the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, what we would do if he invaded Kuwait. She left him the impression that the U.S. would not become involved. So he overran Kuwait, and the U.S. drove him out again, during "Operation Desert Storm," which reduced Iraq to roughly 1/3 of its former territory. Then Bush 41 ran for re-election, touting his success in the war - Americans voted him out, because of his failed domestic policies.

Because, at this time, it is convenient for them to forget. There were many more terror attacks before 9/11 also, like the Kobar Towers and USS Cole to name a few.....And aren't Al Queida there now.....I personally believe they were there before too though..l.thanks for the question.

er... I remember the Gulf War... I remember the reasons Daddy Bush said we weren't invading Iraq then... basically it's the EXACT same things that have gone wrong when W. did invade...

I'm not sure where your trying to go with this... it's like a random statment and you forgot to make the point you wanted to make...
