i was out riding today, and i wasnt on full throttle or nothing, and it made a wierd sounds and died on me. i was going about 30mph, and there was a litttle mud on it but i dont think it over heated :-/... when i try to start it with the e. stary, it sounds like the gear is jsut spinning. i dunno if its catching or not, but if it is, the engine had NO compression. i dont think the piston blew tho, seeing that it was ridden very seldomly... any hints or ideas guys?

The "no compression" - the starter clutch is slipping and not turning the crankshaft. Try turning the crankshaft by hand (with a wrench). You'll know if the engine has good compression or not.
You probably need a new starter clutch. It's a common problem on all bikes and quads with electric starters.

Edit
The starter clutch has nothing to do with moving the quad/bike. The starter clutch engauges the starter motor to the crankshaft, to turn the engine. If it doesn't engauge, the starter motor will just spin and the engine won't turn (hench, no compression).

Piece of crap! I have 2 late model units in my shop with parts on backorder for the last 3 months! California dealers are dropping the line like a bad habit, making it difficult to get parts. The best bike in the world is useless without any factory/dealer support. Spend the money and buy a bike that you can rely on parts being readily available. Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki/Kawasaki/Polaris all have good customer support.
