I have been on youtube and seen that many people have posted themselves feeding their fish insects, frogs, small fish. The people posting these videos are primarly owners of oscar fish. Is it ok for me to feed my red devil the same things?

most fish, especially cichlids will relish live foods. anything you bring in to them that is wriggling will send them into a frenzy, I have fed my cichlids insects and other live fish for years, as for tree frogs, ive never heard of anything like that but im sure it would be atleast interesting to watch

The tree frogs might be a bit large for him unless he is a really large devil, but otherwise yes to all of them. Live foods are excellent food for any fish.
