It's a long shot but if your default admin. or administrator user hasn't been replaced with your forgotten password when you log on to windows then type administrator in the password box or the username box when u start your computer. If that doesn't work give yourself a day or two to remember. It has happened to me more that once. And before i lost hope and had no choice but to do a fresh install. i spent hours and days with breaks in between before my guardian angel decided i suffered enough and help me remeber the password. Try not to stress out too much. Take a break...clear your mind...and maybe you will remember the password out of know where....and that this guardian angel is for real or am i just a.............uhhh, your a weirdo...like the lady who asked a question but chose my answer "as best answer"...check out the question this lady asked and my answer to that and please tell me what she meant by weirdo. Just want an opinion. Peace!

Only way I can think of is to reboot your computer and logon as administrator in Safemode. You should be able to delete your account that you forgot the password to.. And re-create a new account. But do them in reverse order so that the documents and pictures from the primary account get X-ferred into the new account. Hope that helps.

Microsoft may be able to help you if you registered your copy of XP, but I wouldn't count on it. If you can't get any help with it or cannot get into XP at all you may have to re-install XP and start from scratch. Either that or get a hacker.......

Start your computer in safe mode and set your computer back to an earlier time.
