Try to quit for two weeks. See if you can do this without much effort. This will give you a good indicator of wether this behavior is complusive. Compulsive means that it is difficult or impossible to say no when the urge comes. Sometimes a person doesn't realize something's compulsive until they try to stop. Addiction is a loaded word and there's much myth floating around as to what it is and I'm not sure if a clear definition of the word exists.
If this behavior is compulsive it's a good indicator that it's a problem. Compulsive sex usually has little to do with sex. There are many reasons people engage in complusive sex. But it's always because of the mood altering properties of sex. Mood altering means changing the way you feel at the moment. Next time you comptemplate doing it, think about how you would feel if you didn't. If you get a lot of unpleasant feelings when doing this, it's also an indicator that this is problematic.
I find it helpful not to think of anything as good or bad. Just helpful or not helpful.

Start by seeing a therapist. If you can't afford one, see if your employer has an EAP (employee assistance program). If so, you may be entitled to some free counseling. And no, your employer won't know about it. There are lots of support groups. Just google it and find one in your area. Just knowing and admitting you have an issue is a big first step (and no, I'm not a big 12 step person). My husband was a sex-addict: porn, cybersex, webcam etc. It will develop into more. Just like any addiction it will take over your life and hurt you and the people you love. It destroyed our marriage and many other aspects of his life. Read Patrick Carnes': "Out of the shadows" or "In the shadows of the net". Both excellent books. I have read almost all of his books and it has helped me so much to understand the addiction. Good luck!

I would assume your private screenings are secret? Masturbation is fine, healthy, can be addictive...but, you're young, and will get over that (like video games) As far as the porn...don't expect real sex to be that way! It's not even close! There's a movie called "Love, Sex and Eating the Bones" About a guy who can't have sex with his girlfriend cuz he only gets erect when watching porn, and the girlfriend's not with it.
Since you apparently have private access to a tv and dvd, use the link below to buy it for $5 used or rent it @ blockbuster...Porn is sum guys fantasy about sex who decided to record and sell it, so watch it like Lord of The Rings (It may look cool and exciting, but we know it's not real)...Once you become sexually active, try to keep it to a minimum...

Hi, porn can be fun and an outlet when no other sexual outlet is available. However, you don't want it to become a substitute for a real relationship with another human being. Remember that porn often sets standards that no human can match. Try getting out more. You didn't mention your age, so if you are over 18, I think you need to get out and meet some real live people who can satisfy your desires

Porn is ok. I don't think you have a problem unless it starts occupying more and more of your time to the determent of other things. Porn, however fun, can be very addictive however because eventually studies show that what once was "exciting" and turns you on will wear off and you will have to find other things that turn you on.
Virgin-in what way? No penetration, sex with others, only oral sex etc?

porn and masturbating can be an addiction. Try to go a day or a week even without it.
When you finally do have sex, you may not be able to "finish" because your body has become dependent on the self stimulation for release.
The same thing happens when girls use a vibrator too much.
Just realize what is happening and you can recondition yourself to not do that.
If that doesn't stop it, see a doctor.

it's perfectly normal. I did the same thing, started in like 8th grade though and it was gay porn becuase I'm queer.
If it's an addiction just try and do other things with your time, play sports watch tv, hang out with friends come on yahoo answers. It's ok if you do this sometimes but 10 times a day is a problem

The porn addiction will eventually destroy you emotionally, spiritually, and physically. It will hollow you out and leave you a shell of the person you could have been!
RUN FROM PORN!!!!
UPDATE: the folks in here telling you it's okay are also addicted to it. it's like asking a crack addict if it's okay to be addicted to crack! you won't get an honest answer. take it from somebody who's been there and back....get help and get your mind off the porn!!! I can't stress this enough.

Sounds completely normal to me. It's obvioulsy not a detriment to your life. Once you actually start having sex, you'll find that porn and masturbation take a back seat to the real thing.

You answer your own question, you're a teenager.
I've found porn gets boring once you realise you can watch it whenever you want.
So enjoy it while you can, once you move out and are free from the tyranny of your parents, you'll be wanting something boring, like a relationship
